- Name of the Post: Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales)
- Total Vacancies: 13,735 (including regular and backlog vacancies)
- Application Period: December 17, 2024, to January 7, 2025
- Preliminary Exam: Tentatively in February 2025
- Main Exam: Tentatively in March/April 2025
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: Super least 20 years and maximum 28 years as of 1st April 2024 (Applicants should be born between 2nd April 1996 to 1st April 2004). As per government rules and regulations, age relaxation will be given to the candidates belonging to the reserved categories.
Educational Qualification: University degree in any subject up to December 31, 2024. A candidate who has appeared for the final year/ semester examination or has completed the final year/semester through the distance mode can however apply in a provisional capacity but must submit proof of passing the examination before the last mentioned date.

- Maharashtra: 1,163 vacancies

Application Process
Applications can be filled through the official SBI website and offline through its branches. They include registration for preliminaries, filling the form for preliminaries, uploading of documents and fees, and submitting the final form. While applying, General/OBC/EWS candidates have to pay an amount of Rs 750 as an application fee, there is no fee for SC/ST/PwBD/XS candidates.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of three stages:
- Preliminary Exam: The objective test will comprise 100 marks and will have 3 sections: English Language – 30 questions in 20 min; Numerical Ability – 35 questions in 20 min; Reasoning Ability – 35 questions in 20 min.
- Main Exam: Multiple choice paper – 200 questions – General/Financial Awareness – 50 questions, General English – 40 questions, Quantitative Aptitude – 50 questions, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude – 50 questions.
- Local Language Test: As for language skills, the candidate is expected to know the state language of the state he or she applies to. Candidates who desire to produce 10th or 12th mark sheets, as proof to show that he or she knows the regional language will not appear for this test.
Pay Scale & Salary
- Basic Pay: Rs 26,730/-
- Pay Scale: Rs 24,050 – Rs 64,480
- Total Salary: Approximately Rs 46,000 per month (inclusive of all allowances).
